EBay was fined for selling counterfeit goods

On Wednesday Internet auction eBay was fined 20 thousand euro by the court for selling counterfeit goods. The house of Hermes that makes designer accessories, embellishments, clothes and perfume has laid before the court as plaintiff.

The reason for the court case has been provided by the sale of three Hermes bags at the auction, three of which has been counterfeit. The amount of the transaction was 3 thousand euros. The court of France for the first time found eBay guilty of negligent business operation.

The number of virtual reality inhabitants will reach a billion

The representatives of Strategy Analytics company have made a prognosis for the closest 10 years in which they predicted the increase of the number of people interested in virtual universes. As GameDaily reports, in the nearest future 22 per cent of people having broadband access to the Internet will be registered in at least one virtual universe. Nevertheless the share of active gamers will be around 6% of all people with broadband access to the net.
